Selling your business is likely to have a massive effect on your life and will probably be the most important sale you are ever likely to make . Yet, many business owners put more effort and focused thought into buying or selling a second-hand car. As a consequence, they lose value and create unnecessary risk for themselves and their business.
However, that does not mean that SME owners can’t benefit massively with the right guidance. The value of your business is not a simple mathematical equation based upon a multiple of revenue or profit, despite the bean counters of this world who may try to convince you that this is the case. It’s not that simple. But it can become a self fulfilling prophecy if you are convinced.
